My truck was brought in for an inspection of a fluid leak. When i went to pickup they told me the gear shift cable broke while it was in their shop. I waited for days to hear back and when i did, the owner called saying it wasnt her teams fault and I would have to pay for 50% of the repair. I asked if she would consider lowering the labor charges and she proceeded to start yelling at me saying she doesnt have money growing on trees and she can't do anything more for me. She also insinuated that I couldve set her up and I was just trying to get a free fix. But NOTHING was wrong with my gear shift when i brought it in. This is such an awful way to treat a customer.
Selena - Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Our goal is always 100% customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, when you came to pick up your vehicle, when we went to put the car in reverse to move out of our building, the assembly was not working as would be expected. Thank you for coming in and spending time with our ASE certified master technician so he could walk you through how the assembly works and how something like this happens. As we have discussed, you didn't break the part nor did we. Nobody did anything - the part broke and would have broken whether we were moving it or you were moving it, at our shop or another facility. I am glad we can work together to come to an equitable conclusion for a situation that nobody wanted.
